Cartographr Co. is a young company founded to bring the beauty of cartography into every home. To do that, we create faithful depictions of countries and cities with their geographic and infrastructural details. To design wall art of your favorite places that is both beautiful and cartographically accurate, we use scientific data, including source data from NASA and OpenStreetMap.

We want to offer you high-quality wall art. Here is how we put that standard into practice. In printmaking, the quality of the finished piece depends mainly on two things: the paper it is printed on and the printing process itself. We print on high-quality fine art paper with an especially clean surface. The matte finish gives highlights and subtle color tones room to show. The 200 gsm paper also has a substantial, tactile feel. For printing, we chose Giclee fine art printing. Compared with conventional printing methods, it offers clear advantages. It is used for fine art prints made with pigment-based archival inks. Conventional print technologies use only four base colors. Giclee prints can use up to 12 colors, which creates noticeably smoother gradients and a wider color space. Put simply, the final print gains more depth and richness, helping create artwork with remarkable life. This is visible not only in color prints, but also in black-and-white work, where Giclee fine art printing gives deep blacks and precise grey gradations. Beyond better reproduction of our designs, Giclee fine art printing has another important advantage: its longevity. This comes from the special archival inks used in Giclee printers. They resist fading under light and keep their quality for decades, so colors and gradients stay brilliant for many years. We went through a long testing phase, comparing print studios, techniques, and papers. Our standard is to offer first-class wall art and give our customers brilliant quality.
